As an art photographer, my tendency is to pay attention to detail, to capture the essence of my models and subjects. Noticing things that others may not. This awareness allows me to connect with living things in an intimate way. I have nurtured this relationship for well over thirty years.  My new phase of work which unites people with the elements of nature has stirred my curiosity of how ‘we’ relate to nature in this technological time in history. Our concentration towards small, charged devices and the ability to have constant communication distracts our capacity to notice what is around us. How far have we traveled away from nature? Where and how do we find a balance? My images invite the viewer to take a closer look.

The Adaptation Project offers the client a way to experience themselves through a different lens. In a time where selfies and cell phone images are part of 'everyone’s' daily experience, I invite you to allow me to portray you through imagination and storytelling. You become a participant through the process. Your submission of images becomes the canvas and I the painter. A gift to yourself or someone you love, the artistic rendering is one that will be unique and create conversation and wonder.
